How Stress and Cortisol can Impact Your Weight

Weight gain as a result of high cortisol levels tends to accumulate in the abdominal and facial regions, and research shows that people with abdominal obesity tend to have higher cortisol levels. And more research shows that higher cortisol levels are linked with greater weight gain in the long run. Hormones and weight loss are closely interrelated, and imbalances in cortisol can have a compounding effect on your weight!
